Putin: Russian Federation Is Recognized By Turkey For Organizing Istanbul Negotiations

Russia is recognized by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for organizing Istanbul negotiations.

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, answering the question of the chairman of the board and general director of the Anadolu agency Serdar Karagez at a meeting with the heads of international information agencies, which took place as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Russian leader emphasized the contribution of Ankara to settlement in Ukraine.

The President of Russia said that he was ready to meet with various responsible persons to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, including Vladimir Zelensky, but the question is who will sign the documents.

“We are ready to meet, and I, by the way, said: I am ready to meet everyone, including Zelensky. Yes, this is not the question. If the Ukrainian state trusts someone to negotiate – for God’s sake, let it be Zelensky. The question is not this, the question is who will sign the documents,” he said.
