Russian President Vladimir Putin called the goal of three-sided talks with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Creating conditions for the revival of Karabakh.
“It seems to me that in this, in fact, the goal of all our efforts, namely, to create conditions for the revival of the region, so that people can feel about themselves and could work normally Activity, develop the economy, “said the Russian leader, reports TASS.
Putin is convinced that Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan for the sake of common interests should strive to strengthen the ties between the countries.
“We are together for centuries in the composition of a single state, we have very deep historical ties, and I would not want them to be destroyed. On the contrary, we must strive to restore them and in the future,” said Putin.
According to him, a lot was done for the year to resolve the situation in Karabakh, but, unfortunately, not all questions managed to decide. “During this time, it really has done a lot. Unfortunately, not all the questions settled, I know about the incidents on the border, and about tragic incidents, when people are dying away from both sides, they are injured,” he stated.
