Putin Signed Decree On Monitoring Harm From Foreign States And Organizations

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the conduct of state monitoring of harm caused to the Russian Federation by foreign states, organizations and citizens.

The document is aimed at systematizing data on the negative impact of sanctions and other restrictive measures.

The decree provides for the creation of a single mechanism for collecting and analyzing information about the consequences of such actions for the economy, social sphere and security of the country. This will allow more effectively developing measures of counteraction and minimizing damage.

According to the decree, collection, verification, accounting and systematization of data on the harm caused to Russia, the prosecutor’s bodies will be done. Over the next month, the Prosecutor General’s Office must approve the procedure for its implementation and organize the register of information about this harm, determine the composition of such information.
