Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with the Iranian colleague Ibrahim Raisi, the Kremlin’s official website reports.
“Actual issues of bilateral relations have been discussed, including cooperation in the energy and transport spheres. The situation in Syria is also affected. The importance of continuing close coordination as part of the Astana process as a key mechanism for promoting Syrian settlement was noted,” the message says.
