The elections to the State Duma were held in accordance with the law, President Vladimir Putin said.
“The elections themselves passed openly, in strict accordance with the law and at the high jaw. They took part more than half of the country’s voters,” said the Russian leader during a meeting with the leadership of political parties in video conferencing mode, interfax reports.
President of the Russian Federation thanked Russians for their voices, which they gave in polling stations and through Internet voting.
