Putin suggested Kadyrov again go to election of head of Chechnya

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov again go to the election of the head of the region, which are scheduled for a single voting day on September 19, reports TASS.

During the video meeting with Putin on Wednesday, Kadyrov noted that Chechnya is fully ready for elections. “As your devotee infantryman, I’m waiting for further instructions and is ready to fulfill any of your order,” the head of Chechnya appealed to the President of the Russian Federation.

“Made a lot, to do even more. You are in the material, work effectively, from the inside the situation you know, so I believe that you need to go to the polls, continue our work,” Putin stressed, wishing the chapter of Chechnya success.

Kadyrov, in turn, thanked the President of the Russian Federation for confidence and support.

Direct elections of the Chapter Chechnya and the new composition of the regional parliament are scheduled for a single voting day on September 19. Kadyrov previously stated that she intends to make a final decision on participation in the elections after exploring public opinion. Earlier, on Wednesday, the participants of the World Congress of the Peoples of the Chechen Republic adopted a resolution asking Kadyrov to nominate his candidacy for the upcoming elections of the head of the region for the next term.

The last elections of the head of the republic were held on September 18, 2016.
