Putin thanks Erdogan for “Turkish Stream”

Russian President Vladimir Putin at negotiations with Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi thanked him for the construction of the “Turkish Flow”.

“In full, the Turkish Stream is running and works – a gas pipeline system to Turkey and transit to South European countries. In this regard, I can not once again not thank you for the consistently consistent position on the construction of this gas pipeline system, which meets the interests of the Turkish people and Russia. Now that we observe enough complex turbulent processes on the European gas market, Turkey feels absolutely confident and stable, “said the head of the Russian state, reports TASS.

The Russian President also indicated that Russia and Turkey not only compensated for the loss of turnover due to the coronavirus pandemic, but also increased it.

According to the head of the Russian state, the departments of Russia and Turkey have learned to find compromises that are profitable to both countries: “Negotiations are sometimes not easy, but with a final positive result. Our departments have learned to find compromises that are profitable for both countries.”

Putin stressed that he was glad to see Erdogan in Russia: “On the phone we all do not discuss, welcome.”
