Putin: Ukraine can “close” including in Crimea

The consequences of the conflict between Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance, which could occur in the event of Ukraine’s entry into this organization, is understandable for everyone. This opinion was expressed on Saturday Russian President Vladimir Putin, writes TASS.

“began to talk more and more actively about the fact that Ukraine will be accepted into NATO. Do you understand what it could lead to? Or maybe still lead so far,” the Russian leader asked.

If it is NATO’s country, then in accordance with the agreement on the formation of the organization, all other members of the alliance must support it in the event of a military conflict, Putin explained. He noticed that Ukraine could “close” including in the Crimea, and then Russia will have to fight with all the alliance. “The consequences are clear or not? I think it is clear for everyone,” the Russian President added.

Putin said that the neutral status of Ukraine is needed that the country does not enter NATO.
