Putin’s position on Karabakh at a meeting with Erdogan: Delimitation of border and a Zangezori corridor

Putin and Erdogan at negotiations in Sochi discussed situations in Syria, Afghanistan, Libya and Karabakh, spoke secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Sadkov.

“Regional conflicts were also tightly on the agenda, they exchanged views on Syria in detail, they spoke to Afghanistan, in Libya and, of course, we were spent on the Karabakh settlement,” said the sands.

He noted that from the Russian side it was emphasized that the parties should look for compromise solutions for the delimitation of the border and for the development of transport infrastructure (meaning the Zangezouri corridor).

We note that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev insists in the speedy delimitation and demarcation of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the early restoration of the passport infrastructure, primarily the construction of the Zangezo corridor. The other day I.Aliyev said that Azerbaijan fully fulfilled its obligations and completed the construction to the Armenian border. However, the destructivism of the government of Pashinyan prevents the full implementation of the agreement.
