Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov met today with the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydky.
According to the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, humanitarian and cultural issues on a bilateral and regional basis were discussed at the meeting.
Jaihun Bayramov informed Mikhail Shvydky about the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the post -conflict period.
The special representative of the President of the Russian Federation, in turn, emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan’s efforts to ensure peace and security in the region. He expressed his readiness to support joint events in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
