The Armed Forces of the DPRK conducted a test launch of the rocket from the train. About this with reference to the North Korean newspaper “Nodon Sinmun” reports NHK.
Training starts carried out a newly created rail rocket regiment. It does not specify what kind of type was the running rocket.
According to the newspaper, the exercises were carried out in one of the mountainous areas in the central part of North Korea – the rocket accurately struck the goal in the Japanese Sea at a distance of 800 kilometers. At the same time, the newspaper did not specify whether the North Korean leader in Kim Jong Yun was present on the exercises.
On the eve, the Japanese side reported that the DPRK launched two rockets towards the Japanese Sea. Rockets fell outside of Japanese territorial waters and exceptional economic zone.
