The Religious Fund of Turkey (TDV) provided humanitarian assistance to the inhabitants of the city of Blah in Mali, where destructive floods took place due to strong rainfalls that claimed the lives of 16 people and destroyed 800 houses.
After the floods caused by heavy rains in August and September 2024, a state of emergency was declared in Mali.
, in the framework of assistance in the Holy for Muslims, Ramazan, the Fund handed over food sets in the city in need in the city, which included rice, pasta, butter and tea.
In addition, Iftar (conversation, evening meal in Muslims) was organized by1000 people.

The local official of the city of Blagia Muhamad Samak expressed gratitude to Turkey and the Turkish people for the support of the inhabitants who suffered from the elements.
In turn, the head of the TDV group in Mali Ibrahim Ozkan, who is in the country in connection with humanitarian shares during Ramazan, emphasized that the fund seeks to help oppressed and in need.
“The Turkish people always help those who were in trouble. We saw with their own eyes in what difficult conditions people live here. They are faced with material difficulties and malnutrition. Therefore, TDV handed over to 600 families of grocery sets, and organized an Iftar for 1000 people. We are glad that we could give people joy,” Ozkan said.
