The Religious Fund of Turkey (TDV), within the framework of charitable actions for the holiday, Kurban plans to provide assistance to more than 25 million in need of Turkey and 49 other countries of the world.
Charban, dedicated to the holiday of Kurban, takes place under the slogan “share sacrificial meat, get closer to your brother.”
The Fund plans to cover with help 81 province and 922 of the region of Turkey, mainly injured from the February earthquakes. Help abroad will cover those in need of 49 countries.
In an interview with Anadol, TDV General Director Isani Turan said that the Fund has been organizing a charitable campaign as part of the Kurban holiday since 1993.
The general director recalled that the Fund continues to assist the victims from the February earthquakes.
“The Turkish people are very interested in a charity event within the framework of Kurban due to a destructive disaster. I hope that this year we will surpass last year’s performance and provide sacrificial meat for more than 25 million in need,” Turan said.
