“In connection with the pandemia of coronavirus in Azerbaijan, certain quarantine measures can be applied.” This was announced in an interview with ATV by the representative of Təbi̇b, deputy director for scientific affairs of the research Institute of Prevention Akif Gurbanov.
According to him, if the number of infected people will seriously increase, then the number of hospitalized can also grow.
“Autumn is soon, which means the weather will deteriorate. It may happen that an excessive increase in the number of infected ones will lead to an increase in the number of patients placed in hospitals. This will also load our healthcare system. Therefore, certain quarantine measures can be taken,” said Gurbanov.
The expert advised all citizens who have reached the age of 18, do not stay away from the vaccination process.
“We must comply with the conditions to a certain extent. In places of accumulation of people, it is necessary to avoid unnecessary contacts, use masks,” summed up the representative of Təbi̇b.
