The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan met with representatives of the leading companies in Belgium for the production of medical equipment. The meeting was also attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Ambassador of Belgium to Baku Michelle Petermans.
In his speech, the Minister of Health Teymur Musaev noted the dynamics of the development of cooperation between the two countries in recent years. It was emphasized that regular meetings of the heads of state, as well as mutual visits of members of government play an important role in the development of Azerbaijani-Belgian relations in various directions.
The Minister also noted fruitful cooperation between our healthcare countries. According to him, the Belgian healthcare system, known for its high -quality treatment, is rightfully considered one of the best in the world. In addition, Belgium is one of the leading countries in the development, production and implementation of medical equipment.
In turn, the IBA vice president is the director of the representative office in Russia and the CIS countries Kirill Makarenko and the representative of Orfit Industries, Johan Foca expressed interest in raising the level of cooperation with Azerbaijan. It was brought to attention that IBA is developing and producing high -tech medical equipment and software solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and Orfit Industries is a leading supplier of equipment in the world to provide immobilization and placement of patients.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop cooperation.
