Representatives of Taliban took part in 15th summit of organization of Islamic cooperation

The leadership of the Taliban took part in the 15th summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIS) in the capital of Gambia Banzhule.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Provisional Government of Afghanistan published a statement on its account on the social media platform X.

The message notes that the delegation led by the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry Abdulkahar Belkha took part in the 15th Summit of the OIS, which was held in Bangulya.

According to this message, OIK sent an official invitation to the Taliban administration to participate in the summit, and the delegation also held a number of meetings with representatives of the OIK and various countries.

The Taliban administration handed over to the special representative of the OIK in Afghanistan Tarik Ali Bakhita, who visited the capital of the country last month, the desire to participate in the summit.
