On February 19, at about 19:00, the prosecutor’s office of Sumgait received a message about the death of Samira Mammadzade born in 1995 in the 6th microdistrict of the city.
During the preliminary investigation, serious suspicions appeared that her husband was killed by her husband Taleh Akhmedov born in 1982. The latter voluntarily surrendered to the investigation.
In the fact of the prosecutor’s office of Sumgait, a criminal case has been instituted under Article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
The preliminary investigation continues.
