Ukrainians raised more than $ 150 thousand for capturing the ex-commander of the army of the separatists of Donbass Igor Strelkov (Girkin), who seemed to go to the front. The country’s citizens collected this amount as part of the crowdfunding program in just a few days, writes The Insider.
In the collection of the amount of remuneration, politicians and athletes took part. In particular, the head of the Luhansk region of Ukraine Sergey Gaidai promised to donate $ 10 thousand, tennis player Sergey Stakhovsky – $ 40 thousand. The Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine guaranteed $ 100 thousand for the capture of Strelkov.
Strelkov regularly commented on the course of the war in Ukraine, criticizing the actions of the Russian leadership. In Ukraine, things have been instituted against him under articles on terrorism, murders, torture and violation of the country’s state sovereignty.
