The richest man of Ukraine according to Forbes, businessman Rinat Akhmetov intends to rebuild Metallurgical plants Mariupol and help restore the destroyed city, reports Reuters.
“My goal is to return to the Ukrainian Mariupol and implement our plans to make Mariupol Steel, as before, competed in world markets,” said Akhmetov.
According to him, Mariupol is the world tragedy and the global example of heroism.
“For me, Mariupol was, there is always Ukrainian. I believe that the heroism of our warriors will protect the city. Although I understand how hard it is,” the businessman said.
Akhmetov added that he believes in the victory of Ukraine in war and in the successful restoration of the country’s economy.
“We will definitely need an unprecedented international program of recovery – the Marshall Plan for Ukraine. I am sure that after the victory of our country in this war, we all restore free, European, democratic and successful Ukraine,” he summed up.
