New, alternative to the Lachinsky corridor, the road will be open for traffic from 22:00 August 30.
According to the Armenian media, the work on asphalting of the 4.7-kilometer section connecting the road to the Gorus-Hankendi highway is completed.
Note that Azerbaijan has introduced a 22-kilometer section of an alternative road to the Lachinsky corridor ahead of time. Armenia only began the construction of the site of the Kornidzor with a length of 11.8 km.
