The Royal Automotive Museum in Amman, Jordan’s capital, recently opened a Robot Cafe that is attracting the attention of visitors.
Regarded as one of the first in the region, the Robot Cafe, which attracts the attention of museum visitors and tourists, offers its customers a unique experience by fully automating the preparation and serving of hot and cold drinks.
The director of operations and marketing of the museum, Mohammed el-Kudat, in an interview with Anadolu Agency, said, that the purpose of the “automated cafe” operated by a Chinese-made robot is not only to provide commercial services, but also to “promote research and development” in the field of robotic automation.
Kudat noted that the original idea was to test a robot that does not require human intervention, and said that the robot has been preparing and serving coffee for about two months without any intervention.
He said people have shown great interest in the project, and noted that The “robot bartender” has become the center of attraction in Amman.
Visitors are happy
Visitors to the automated cafe expressed their surprise at the experience.
Jordanian Shahir el-Qadiri in an interview with Anadolu said: “I came to this cafe for the first time, it is strange. I have not seen this before. I have visited many countries, but to be honest, I have not seen this. I was shocked and impressed.”
Kadiri shared that he liked the taste of the coffee: “You can add patterns to the coffee, it’s very interesting. I really liked it. There is no human intervention. The client simply chooses the design he likes, and the robot draws it on the coffee.”
Expressing his satisfaction with this experience in his country, he added: “I am proud that there is such an establishment in Jordan. It shows how much we have advanced, developed and have the latest technology. I have not seen anything like this even in the USA, Canada and Europe.” robot “good and reassuring”, noting that ordering and payment are carried out through the monitor.

One of the cafe employees spoke about the work system robot.
He said the robot works in several precise steps: first picking up a glass, then putting it on the scale, then filling the drink and putting the full glass back on the scale to check the weight.
The cafe employee noted that after preparing the order, the robot takes a photo of the coffee, and at the end says in English: “Your coffee is ready, enjoy appetite.”
