Romania asked Ukraine to recognize Moldavian

Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu on the diplomatic forum in Antalya addressed Ukraine with a request to officially recognize the Moldavian language “non-existent”. This is reported by Telegram-channel “Sputnik Moldavia.”

Auriescu stated that “after the recognition of the identity between the Romanian language and the so-called Moldovan language” in April 2021, Kiev should officially recognize that the Moldovan language does not exist.

At the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmitry Culeleb, he also stressed the support of Romania of Ukraine’s cooperation with NATO.
