“Roof of Western Europe” has become below meter

Over the past four years, the highest mountain in Western Europe Mont Blanc or as it is called the “roof of Western Europe” has become almost one meter below, reports France Bleu radio station.

It is noted that at present the height of the mountain is 4,0807.81 m. Meanwhile, in 2017, the height of Montblan was 4,808,72 m.

According to experts, the change in the height of the mountain occurs due to the decrease in snow cover on its top.
