Roscosmos And NASA Discussed Development Plans Of Lunar Program

Representatives of the Russian State Corporation Roscosmos and the National Aeronautics and Study of the US space (NASA) discussed plans for the development of the orbital space after the completion of the project of the International Space Station (ISS) and the development plans of the lunar program. This was announced on April 8 by Corporation Director Dmitry Bakanov.

General Director of Roscosmos and Deputy Administrator of NASA Kenneth Bauersoks made a media statement based on the launch of the manned ship “Soyuz MS-27”.

“Bauersoks with us is now at a press conference. We had a rather open discussion yesterday, and a half we discussed the plans of Roscosmos and NASA, the plans for the development of the orbital space after the ISS, the development plans of the lunar program,” Bakanov said.

He noted that Roscosmos expects the appointment of the new NASA administrator Jared Isekman to reach agreements on all issues.

On April 8, the Union MS-27 spacecraft delivered a crew, which includes Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim, to the ISS.
