Rostec Intends To Begin Serial Production Of Imported Airliners By End Of 2026

The Rostec State Corporation plans to launch serial production of completely Russian passenger aircraft until the end of 2026. This was announced by Corporate General Corporation Sergey Chemezov at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to Chemezov, the imported versions of the MS-21, Superjet 100 and IL-114 are taking place of certification flights. The stages of the finalization, the fully imported MS -21 will fly in August, ”said Chemezov.

Mishustin emphasized the importance of completing all projects and instructed to work out a financial model for air supply for Russian airlines.
