Eight foci of forest fires operate in Russia 5 km from settlements. This was reported by TASS with reference to operational services.
“Currently, 5 km from the settlements there are eight centers of forest fires on an area of 241 hectares, of which one hearth (on an area of 80 hectares) is localized,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to him, about 980 people and 215 units of equipment, as well as seven aircraft, were involved in extinguishing.
