Russia: again poisoning “Palen” alcohol: new victims

In Russia, a new case of group poisoning of surrogate alcohol – this time in the city of Kurgan, where six people became victims of poisoning, three of whom died.

In the Office of the Investigative Committee, the region reported that these people died during the month. The surrogate trade charges were presented with a 56-year-old local resident – according to investigators, he acquired alcohol for subsequent resale, as part of which was methyl alcohol.

Recently, mass poisoning by surrogate alcohol occurred in the Orenburg region, located a few hundred kilometers from Kurgan: 64 people were poisoned there, 35 of them died. In October, 18 people in the Sverdlovsk region were died from poisoning with methyl alcohol.
