The Nobel Fund did not invite to Stockholm to the awards of the 2022 awards of the ambassadors of Russia and Belarus. A message about this was published by the organization on the official website.
“The Nobel Fund invites ambassadors in Sweden, but in connection with the invasion of Russia to Ukraine, the Fund decided not to invite the ambassadors of Russia and Belarus to the Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm,” the press release says.
Recall, the Nobel Prize of the World in 2022 awarded human rights activists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The award was received by the Russian Center “Memorial”, the Belarusian activist Ales Belyatsky and the Ukrainian “Center for Civil Freedom”. The presentation will take place on December 10.
