Russia and Iran will take relations “to a new level”

“Russia and Iran plan to bring bilateral relations to a new level of strategic partnership.” This was announced on July 18 by the assistant to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov.

According to him, Iran is an important partner of Russia.

“Relations are friendly, have a centuries -old history, are developing very effectively in a wide range of directions. Both parties have plans to bring bilateral cooperation to a new level – the level of strategic partnership. A new interstate agreement is being prepared on this score,” – they quote it “Izvestia”.

We recall that today, July 18, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with the highest leader of Iran Ali Khamenei during his visit to Tehran.
