In the Crimea annexed by Russia, they said that the peninsula from Ukraine is no more transport blockade. This was reported today by the Russian media, citing the “adviser” of the head of the Crimea on information policy Oleg Kryuchkov.
“The transport blockade of Crimea, arranged by Ukrainian nationalists eight years ago, remained in the past. Today the process of restoration of freight and passenger messages has begun. Private business does not tolerate voids. When people need to go and there is a request for this, then the connections are being established”, – said Kryuchkov.
According to Kryuchkov, railway branches connecting Crimea to the Kherson region are also restored, and passenger trains will begin to run in the near future. Kryuchkov claims that in the regions of Ukraine captured by Russia, urban and intercity transport has fully earned.
