The head of the Rosatom State Corporation Alexei Likhachev said that Russia is ready to discuss with the United States their presence at the Zaporizhzhya NPP (ZAES) as part of the Ukrainian settlement.
“If a political decision is made by the country’s leadership, we are ready to discuss this with the American side,” Likhachev answered the corresponding question of “Interfax” on Wednesday.
Last Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow did not receive proposals from Washington regarding the further fate of the ZAES and its possible joint management of the United States and Ukraine.
