Russia banned the passage of the vessels loaded not in the country through the Kerch Strait in the Sea of Azov. This was reported by the Russian media with reference to the Main Department of Marines under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
“According to the official notification that we received from the Naval Administration of the Russian Federation, the passage of ships loaded outside the territory of the Russian Federation, to the north through the Kerch Strait, which ensures the passage to the Sea of Azov, is prohibited,” the ministry said.
