Russia Has Banned Number Of Representatives Of European Countries From Entering Country

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of a ban on entry into Russia for a number of European representatives in connection with the nineteenth package of anti-Russian sanctions of the European Union.

“The European Union continues to increase unilateral, illegitimate from the point of view of international law, restrictive measures against our country that undermine the prerogatives of the UN Security Council. The next sanctions “package” – the 19th in a row – was approved at a meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs on October 23. In response to these unfriendly actions, the Russian side has significantly expanded the list of representatives of European institutions, EU member countries and a number of European states that are integrated into the anti-Russian policy of Brussels, which, in accordance with Federal Law of August 15, 1996 No. 114-FZ “On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation,” are prohibited from entering the territory of our state,” it follows from publication.

It is noted that “we are talking about employees of law enforcement agencies, government and commercial organizations, citizens of EU member countries and a number of other Western states responsible for providing military assistance to Kyiv, participating in organizing the supply of dual-use products to Ukraine, conducting activities aimed at undermining the territorial integrity” of the Russian Federation and “organizing a blockade of the movement of Russian ships and cargo; representatives of European structures, government bodies of the EU countries and other European states involved in the persecution Russian officials for “illegal arrests and removal of people from Ukrainian territories”, engaged in the creation of a “tribunal” against the Russian leadership, advocating the confiscation of Russian state assets or the use of profits from them in the interests of Ukraine, responsible for the introduction and application of sanctions” against the Russian Federation and “trying to harm Russia’s relations with other states, civil activists and representatives of the scientific community who have distinguished themselves by their Russophobic rhetoric; The EU and the European Parliament, who voted for anti-Russian resolutions and bills.”

” Hostile actions of the European Union are not capable of having any impact on the politics of our country. Russia will continue to follow the course of defending national interests, protecting the rights and freedoms of its citizens, as well as the emerging multipolar world order,” the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized.
