Russia: II International Festival of Circus Art “without borders” started

The second international festival of circus art “without borders” started in St. Petersburg.

The circus art festival “without borders” will be hosted by St. Petersburg for the second time, the birthplace of the first stone stationary circus of Russia – Circus Chiniselli.

For several days before the audience, a breathtaking show will unfold, and the best equalibrists and illusionists, athletes and acrobats, comedians and mims, trainers and jugles will demonstrate the latest achievements of “science to surprise and delight” and contribute to the treasure of world zirco art.

According to the Russian media, the jury this year included the General Director of the Russian State Circus Company (Rosgoscirk) Sergey Belyakov, Honored Artist of Russia Giya Eradze, General Director of Armony Organization Akhmet Ecchi (Turkey), General Director of the capital’s capital Circus of Budapest (Hungary) Peter Feketa, General Director of the Chinese National Acrobatic troupe (PRC) Li Chi and many others.

On the first day of the review, which will last until September 17, 11 competitive numbers were presented to the public.

This year, artists from 16 countries take part in the festival, including from Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan, Australia and others.

The first festival of circus art “without borders” took place in St. Petersburg in November 2022. Then more than 150 artists from 20 countries took part in it.
