Russian border guards in Armenia carry a service with a multiple-enlarged load. This was stated by the Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin at the opening of a monument to Russian-Armenian friendship in Yerevan.
“The border guards service became complicated due to those difficult tests that the Republic of Armenia had to worry about the Republic of Armenia,” the ambassador said.
Koprkin noted that in addition to the duties prescribed in the contract, Russian border troops increased the presence in the Syunik region (Zangezur).
