Russia recalls scandalous Jagaryan from Iran

Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali on Wednesday, said that Alexey Dedov will become a new alive of the Russian Federation in Tehran.

“Today I met with Alexei Dedov. He will soon begin his work in Tehran as a new ambassador,” wrote Jalali on Twitter.

Both parties emphasized that relations between Iran and Russia are in one of the best historical periods.

Jalali thanked the current ambassador of the Russian Federation Levan Dzhagaryan for his efforts, wishing success to Dedov.

Recall that the Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan has repeatedly found himself at the center of political scandals. He was photographed at the monument to Griboedov and on the steps at the entrance to the Russian Embassy – at the very place where 78 years ago, in December 1943, during the Tehran Conference, three leaders of the anti -Hitler coalition were photographed: the leader of the USSR Iosif Stalin, Prime Minister of Great Britain Winston Churchill and US President Franklin Delaino Roosevelt. Jagaryan’s actions then caused an angry reaction in Iranian society.
