Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered the termination of the agreement with Japan on cooperation in the liquidation of nuclear weapons to be reduced in Russia.
This order was published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation.
“to terminate the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Japanese government on cooperation in order to assist in the liquidation of nuclear weapons to be reduced in the Russian Federation and the creation of the Committee on Cooperation for this purpose, signed in Tokyo on October 13, 1993,” – It is said in the document.
Russian Foreign Ministry is instructed to notify the Japanese side of the decision.
