Russia thanks Georgia for refusing to introduce sanctions against Moscow

First Deputy Head of the International Committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov thanked Georgia for the decision not to join the economic and financial sanctions against Russia because of military operation in Ukraine, report “Izvestia”.

According to him, Georgia supports not bad trading relations with Russia, including in the field of supplies of fruits, vegetables and wine. “Well done. You can only greet such a decision,” he said.

Recall that earlier the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, said that the authorities got acquainted with the relevant activities of Western partners and added that, taking into account the national interests of Georgia, the country was not going to participate in financial and economic sanctions against Russia.
