The International Paralympic Committee suspended the membership of the Paralympic Committee of Russia, the organization said.
“In connection with the suspension, Russia loses all the rights of membership in the Ministry of PSCH, taking into account the right to appeal. If any appeal is not satisfied, only the General Assembly can cancel the suspension. The next general assembly will probably take place in the fourth quarter of 2023” , – the statement is noted.
The decision was made at an extraordinary meeting by a majority vote: 64 members of the organization voted for the suspension, 39 – against, 16 abstained.
