Russia will open a humanitarian corridor at request of Macron and Scholz

“Russia will open the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol at the personal requests of French President Emmanuel Macgron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.” This is stated in the statement of the Interdepartmental Coordination Staff of the Russian Federation on Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

According to the post, Gumbridor from Mariupol in Zaporizhia with an intermediate point in Berdyansk will be opened from April 1.

Also, for a successful operation, it is proposed to hold it with the direct participation of representatives of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Recall that earlier President of France Emmanuel Macron said that in conjunction with Turkey and Greece wants a humanitarian operation to evacuate people from Mariupol.
