Russia and Islamic states connect a strong bonds of friendship and deep respect. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Marat Khusnullin, referring to the participants of the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum.”
According to him, trust has become the most important factor in the development of relations between Russia and Muslim countries not only in the field of economics, but in all the variety of cooperation, which acquired the nature of strategic partnership.
“Russia and Islamic states connect a strong bonds of friendship and deep respect. We value readiness for open and direct communication, as well as a deep understanding of our position. The strategic nature of our partnership not only bonds relations, but also opens up new prospects. It testifies to this. and the growth in the trade turnover of Russia with the states of the organization of Islamic cooperation by almost 30% over the past three years, ”said Khusnullin.
He expressed hope for maintaining high rates of cooperation in the future.
Deputy Prime Minister assured that the Russian authorities are working on increasing trade with friendly countries.
Khusnullin recalled that on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin since this year Kazanforum has been held at the federal level.
The event, whose global information partner is the Anadolu agency, is attended by more than 15 thousand people from 84 countries of the world. It is planned to conduct more than 150 business sessions.
