Russia is interested in strengthening established ties and finding new partners, in promoting agrarian and industrial cooperation, and creating new transport and logistics chains. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a written appeal to the participants of the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum.”
According to the head of state, today Islamic countries are actively developing, achieving tangible achievements in trade and financial sphere, innovation and scientific and applied research.
Putin emphasized that Russia is open to the widest business and humanitarian cooperation with them. “We are interested in strengthening the established connections and gaining new partners, in promoting agrarian and industrial cooperation, creating new transport and logistics chains. I note that Russian Muslims play a significant role in expanding international contacts. The current forum is convincingly evidenced.
