Russian Federation ratified agreement on creation of educational and combat centers with Belarus

Russian President Vladimir Putin ratified an agreement with Belarus on the creation and functioning of the training and combat centers of joint training of military personnel. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information on Tuesday, December 12.

“to ratify the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on the creation and functioning of the training and combat centers of joint training of the military personnel of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, signed in the city of Minsk on March 28, 2023,” the document says.

The agreement provides for the procedure for the interaction of the parties to create and function the combat centers intended for the joint training of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus, their practical development of combat training, combat duty and improving the level of coherence and combat training.

Such centers will be opened on the basis of joint decisions of the Ministry of Defense of the two countries that will determine their activities, composition, structure, number, location, terms of formation and functioning procedure.

The agreement was signed in Minsk on March 28, 2023.
