Russian general was noticed in Ukrainian body armor

Russian APTA General Alaudinov wears a bulletproof vest in the Ukrainian army. The Russian BBC service drew attention to this detail, referring to the video, which was posted in his telegram channel, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

The footage shows how Major General Alaudinov is surrounded by other fighters against the background of trees and talks about the situation in Severodonetsk. He has been dressed in a vapor vestibule, which since 2014 has been officially approved as a camouflage of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the publication notes.

On the left shoulder of the body armor is also visible an element that the military calls the “box”. This is a compacted roller that holds the weapon belt from rolling from the shoulder. Only Ukrainian and Russian body armor has such “boxes”, but Russian colors are much darker. This is an additional argument in favor of the fact that General Alaudinov is wearing precisely the Ukrainian body armor, and not the western form of similar coloring, says BBC.

Alaudinov until 2021 was Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic. In 2022, he headed the Akhmat special forces detachment.
