Russian Ministry Of Defense Reported Transfer Of Settlement Of Poltavka To Control Of Russian Army

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the settlement of Poltavka had come under the control of the Russian army.

Control over the village in the Zaporozhye region was established by units of the Vostok group of troops, “advancing into the depths of the enemy’s defense,” follows from a publication in the Telegram channel of the defense department on Sunday, October 19.

It is reported that operational-tactical aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Russian Armed Forces damaged transport infrastructure facilities supporting the operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as points of temporary deployment of enemy personnel in 143 regions.

Air defense systems shot down two guided aerial bombs and three missiles of the system US-made HIMARS salvo fire and 323 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, the defense department noted.

“In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 91,200 unmanned aerial vehicles, 633 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,575 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,604 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 30,590 field artillery pieces and mortars, 44,349 units of special military vehicles,” the Russian Defense Ministry says.

The Ukrainian side does not confirm the given figures.
