Russian Ministry Of Defense Reported Interception Of 98 UAVs Over Various Regions Of Country

Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 98 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the past night. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday, November 1.

According to the message, 45 UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, 12 UAVs – over the territory of the Samara region, 11 UAVs – over the territory of the Moscow region, including 6 UAVs flying to Moscow, 10 UAVs – over the territory of the Voronezh region, 10 UAVs – over the territory of the Rostov region, 4 UAVs – over the territory of the Tula region, 2 UAVs – over the territory of the Lipetsk region, 2 UAVs – over the territory of the Ryazan region, 1 UAV – over the territory of the Kursk region and 1 UAV – over the territory of the Kaluga region.

Governor In the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev reported that elements of a UAV shot down at night over Tula were found next to the roadway.

“This night, air defense units of the Russian Ministry of Defense, during combat work to protect the airspace of the region, destroyed four Ukrainian drones. There were no casualties. No damage to infrastructure was recorded,” the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel.

Governor of the Rostov region Yuriy Slyusar reported that last night air defense forces destroyed and intercepted UAVs in the Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky and Chertkovsky districts. “People, fortunately, were not injured. Information about the consequences on the ground is being clarified,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

It is reported that temporary restrictions on the arrival and release of aircraft were introduced at the airports of Tambov, Kaluga, Penza, Samara and Saratov.
