The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the village of Volchye in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine came under the control of Russian troops. This was stated in a message from the press service of the Russian defense department on Saturday, November 8.
The settlement of Volche was taken under control as a result of the advance of a unit of the Vostok group of troops into the “depths of the enemy’s defense,” the Russian defense department noted.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported a “massive strike” on enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC) and facilities gas and energy complex of Ukraine, which ensured their operation.
“In response to terrorist attacks by Ukraine on civilian targets on Russian territory tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range air, land and sea-based weapons, including hypersonic aeroballistic missiles “Dagger”, as well as attack unmanned aerial vehicles against enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and facilities of the gas and energy complex of Ukraine, which ensured their operation,” follows from the publication.
“The objectives of the strike were achieved, all designated facilities were hit,” the Russian Defense Ministry claims.
It is worth noting that Ukraine, as a rule, does not confirm information coming from the Russian side.
