The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the settlement of Novouspenovskoe in the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine came under the control of Russian troops. This was stated in a message from the press service of the Russian defense department on Tuesday, November 11.
The settlement of Novouspenovskoye was taken under control as a result of the advance of a unit of the Vostok group of forces into the “depth of the enemy’s defense,” the Russian defense department noted.
“In the area of the settlement of Kupyansk, Kharkov region, assault detachments of the 6th Army continued to destroy the encircled enemy group. The eastern one was completely liberated part of the city,” the RF Ministry of Defense asserts.
“Operational-tactical aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation damaged transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 140 districts,” it follows from messages.
“69 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems,” the press service noted.
It is worth noting that Ukraine, as a rule, does not confirm information coming from the Russian side.
37 UAVs were destroyed overnight
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that during the past night air defense systems on duty were 37 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed.
According to the message, 10 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 8 UAVs – over the territory of the Saratov region, 7 UAVs – over the territory of the Oryol region, 3 UAVs – over the territory of the Lipetsk region, 3 UAVs – over the territory of the Rostov region region, 3 UAVs – over the Black Sea, 1 UAV – over the territory of the Bryansk region, 1 UAV – over the territory of the Voronezh region and 1 UAV – over the territory of the Kaluga region.
Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin reported that civil infrastructure facilities were damaged during the drone attack.
“As a result of the UAV attack, windows were broken in several houses in the Zavodskoy district, there is one victim, doctors helped her, she did not require hospitalization,” he wrote on the social network.
