The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the neutralization of 36 unmanned aerial vehicles during the past night.
“During the past night, from 23.00 Moscow time on November 16 to 7.00 Moscow time on November 17, duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 36 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles,” follows from a publication in the Russian Telegam channel defense department on Monday, November 17.
In particular, 14 UAVs were neutralized over the territory of the Bryansk region, 8 UAVs – over the territory of the Tambov region, 5 UAVs – over the territory of the Ulyanovsk region, 4 UAVs – over the territory of the Voronezh region, 3 UAVs – over the territory of the Oryol region, 1 UAV – over the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod and Tula regions.
UAV attacks on Russian regions began in 2022 against the backdrop of a “special military operation” in Ukraine.
