The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the settlements of Zvanovka in the Donetsk region and New Zaporozhye in the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine came under the control of Russian troops. This is stated in a message from the press service of the Russian defense department on Saturday, November 22.
The settlement of Zvanovka was taken under control as a result of “decisive actions” of a unit of the “Southern” group of forces,” and New Zaporozhye – as a result of “active offensive actions” of a unit of the “East” group of forces, noted the Russian defense department.
“Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation damaged the assembly shop, storage and launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats, energy and transport infrastructure facilities of Ukraine used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 156 regions,” it follows from messages.
“155 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems,” the Russian Defense Ministry added.
It is worth noting that Ukraine, as a rule, does not confirm information coming from the Russian side.
